Meet Dickson Swanepoel, Managing Trustee and Principal Agent at YellowSquare Properties, with over 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry.
Dickson began his career in South Africa with Pam Golding Properties (PGP) in Stellenbosch, where he established and managed a dedicated rental department. In that role, he was responsible for the day to day management of rental administration, lease agreements, tenant and landlord relations, and the careful handling of rental funds, building a strong foundation in systems, compliance, and client service.
As his experience expanded, he transitioned into the sales division during his final years with PGP, where he facilitated numerous successful property transactions and further refined his ability to guide clients through negotiations, contract processes, and complex real estate matters.
Today, he is the owner of YellowSquare Properties, an independent contracting estate agency in Namibia. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a practical, hands on approach, he has built YellowSquare into a trusted name focused on professionalism, accountability, and creating value for both clients and agents.
In 2017 and 2018, he served as President of the Association of Estate Agents of Namibia (AEAN) and played an active role in revitalising the association during that period. He was involved in AEAN during 2017 and 2018, after which the association became inactive again.
Dickson has also served as a Board Member of the Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) since July 2023, and is committed to strengthening governance, improving operational efficiency, and advancing industry standards.
