This is a beautiful property covering 6 819 ha and located approximately 100 Km to the north of Bethanie and 65 Km by road to the east of Helmeringhausen. The undulating topography is pleasing to the eye with mountains and dry rivers traversing the property. Camelthorn trees are the dominant woody plants with other Acacia and bush species such as Noeni bush along the riverbeds. The grass plains are mostly covered with species of Stipagrostis such as Blinkaar, Langbeen- and Kortbeenboesman grass as the dominant species. The property is fenced in by an electrified jackal proof fence and it is also partially game fenced. There are3 jackal proof blocks to limit losses by predators and it is subdivided into 10 grazing paddocks or camps. Six boreholes were drilled to depths of 35m to 120m and capacities varying from 1,5m³ up to 10m³/hr. The boreholes are equipped with either solar pumps or windmills and the water is tasty and of good quality. A large earth dam was constructed in the river, keeping water for several months after the rainy season. Average rainfall in the area is in the order of 150 to 200 mm/annum. The farmstead comprises a 4-bedroom house with 14 rooms, garage and labour housing. Electricity is provided by a genset and solar installation.
